Hero MotoCorp is one of the leading motorcycle manufacturing company in India which used to launch their product in Indian subcontinent including Bangladesh. Hero is one of the top popular and trustworthy brand in Bangladesh as well which entered the Bangladeshi market first in long time ago with Honda company. Then it was known as Hero Honda. By separating with Honda, Hero re – entered the market in 2011 and launched their one old product with new name. The product is Hero Glamour which is 125 cc standard category commuter bike. Among 125 cc available motorcycles in Bangladesh, Hero Glamour is one of the most popular bike where Hero used their latest technology to build it. Due to the strong engine and gorgeous outlooks, Hero Glamour has won the heart of riders in the country. Let’s have a glance below the details of Hero Glamour motorcycle.

Design & looks

The design and style of the bike is very well which is somewhat changed than older version. Now the front portion of Glamour is more stylish. Besides, though it is a 125 cc bikes but some kits are also added in the both side of the fuel tank which gives it a simple sports look. However, it is featured with sleek cowl and tinted visor. Most of all, the new model of Hero Glamour is painted with gorgeous color combination where the alloy wheels, front leg guard, engine, silencer are completely black in color. Though, it is changed after leaving Honda but still could not match with the rivals Discover 125 which is recently launched. But one thing is completely true that Hero Glamour is now better than before.

Engine performanc

The update model of Hero Glamour engine is consisting of 124.7 cc engine which is also available with latest carburettor and fuel injection technology. Besides, it is an air cooled technology included, four stroke and OHC engine which can produce 9 Bhp @ 7000 rpm max power with 10.35 Nm @ 4000 rpm max torque. Tubular double cradle type frame is used for the bike which has DC digital CDI with TCIS ignition system. Bore is less than stroke where bore is 52.4 mm and stroke is 57.8 mm.

Dimensions & seating position

 The motorcycle contains good body appearance which has a really good dimension. The bike is not so large and also not so small. The length is 2005 mm, width is 735 mm and height is 1070 mm. The seating position is too good and large enough to carry three passengers. Besides, the wheelbase is comparatively longer and has a good ground clearance.

Suspension & Brakes

Brake and suspensions of a bike is regarded as most important things which can provide comfort and safety and also can provide the trouble. In that case, Hero Glamour is one step ahead. Hero used telescopic hydraulic shock absorber suspension for the front wheel and swing arm with hydraulic shock absorber suspension is used for the rear wheel which can provide great comfort. On the other hand, the braking system is consists of front disc and rear drum brake which can guarantee the safety.

Mileage

Fuel efficiency is the best fact of Hero Glamour where on city the bike can give almost 60 km mileage which will go up to 70 km on highway. So, average mileage of the bike is more than 65 km which can fill up the expectation of the riders.

Instrument Panel & Features

The instrument console of Hero Glamour is almost analog where analog speedometer and analog tachometer are included. But fuel gauge is digital and there is low fuel indicator system is included. Hero needs to digitize their instrument panel.

The current price of the machine is BDT 1,57,490 which is available with four different colors in Bangladesh named Candy Blazing Red, Black with Sports Red, Black with Tornado Grey Metallic, Black with Techno Orange.
